General Instructions for UAP Members

UAP Dubai Chapter is one of chartered organization by the United Architects of the Philippines outside of the country and is legally recognized by the Philippine Consulate as one of the Filipino organizations under its umbrella. Six years have passed when the UAP Dubai chapter started to gather and unite Registered Architects from Philippines who are currently working in Dubai. They were called upon to actively participate and develop their skills further through the programs of the organization.

Like any other organization, UAP-Dubai Chapter follows certain rules and requirements on accepting members given below:

General Instructions for New Board Passers or New UAP Members

Application Procedure

1.See if you meet the minimum requirements.

You must be a Registered and Licensed Architect

Your name must appear in the Registry of Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)

2.Obtain Membership Application Form

You may get the UAP-IAPOA membership application form from our UAP Dubai Committee on Internal Affairs Chairperson or download from our UAP Dubai website.

3.Fill out the Application form

The form must be legible and completed in ink

The forms must have original signature and must be signed in black

All spaces must be filled in (kindly indicate N/A if not applicable)

4.Submit the Membership Application Form

Submit the Membership Application Form to our Internal Affairs Chairperson. The Committee on Internal Affairs will evaluate the completeness of your application.

Attach the following to your application form:

2 pieces of 2”x2” or Passport size photo with white background

Photocopy of your PRC License

Photocopy of your Passport and Residence or Employment visa

(Note: Visit or tourist visa are not accepted)

5.Pay the corresponding Annual Membership fees and other required fees

Pay the corresponding membership and UAP-IAPOA fees to the Chapter Treasurer or Chapter President, and the Chapter will issue UAP Dubai official receipt.

Kindly refer to the fees and charges that will be provided by the Committee on Internal Affairs upon completing the application form. (Note: Payments must be made by Cash)

6.Claim your UAP-IAPOA Membership Certificate and Identification Card

You can claim your IAPOA Certificate and Identification Card on the respective date that to be given/ announced by the Chapter President/ Treasurer thru e-mails and / or in our website.

General instructions for Inactive Members who want to activate their records

Application Procedure

1.See if you meet the minimum requirements.

You must be a Registered and Licensed Architect

Your name must appear in the Registry of PRC

2.Verify Billing Statement of UAP-IAPOA Membership Dues

Verify and acquire your billing statement for the IAPOA dues at the UAP National Administration Office

3.Obtain Membership Application Form

You may get the UAP-IAPOA membership application form from our UAP Dubai Committee on Internal Affairs chairperson or download from our UAP Dubai website.

4.Fill out the Application form

The form must be legible and completed in ink

The forms must have original signature and must be signed in black

All spaces must be filled in (kindly indicate N/A if not applicable)

5.Submit the Membership Application Form and Billing Statement

Submit the Membership Application Form and Billing Statement to our Internal Affairs Chairperson/ Chapter Treasurer.

7.Claim your UAP-IAPOA Membership Certificate and Identification Card

General Instructions for Transfer of Membership to another Chapter

Application Procedure

1.See if you meet the minimum requirements.

You must be a Registered and Licensed Architect

Your name must appear in the Registry of PRC

2.Verify Billing Statement of UAP-IAPOA Membership Dues

Verify and acquire your billing statement for the IAPOA dues at the UAP National Administration Office

3.Obtain Transfer Form

You may get the UAP-IAPOA membership application form from our UAP Dubai Committee on Internal Affairs chairperson or download from our UAP Dubai website.

4.Validate Transfer form from Originating Chapter

Present Transfer Form and Billing Statement of UAP-IAPOA membership dues to Chapter President/ Treasurer

Pay corresponding chapter dues or charges, if any

5.Fill out the Transfer form

The form must be legible and completed in ink

The forms must have original signature and must be signed in black

All spaces must be filled in (kindly indicate N/A if not applicable)

6.Submit the Transfer Form and Billing Statement

Submit the Transfer Form and Billing Statement of UAP-IAPOA Membership dues to our Chapter Treasurer.

7.Attach the following to your Transfer form:

Photocopy of your PRC License

Photocopy of your Passport and Residence or Employment visa

Note:

–          All UAP-IAPOA Certificates will be issued ONLY to the respective Chapter President. The chapter may withhold issuance of IAPOA certificates pending payment of necessary chapter dues and charges.

–          The IAPOA certificate may be issued directly to the Member provided there is a written authorization from the Chapter President/ Treasurer.

–          If payment was done thru the Chapter, claim your UAP Official Receipt also from the Chapter President/ Treasurer.
